Stash Stack Quilt

Running behind a little as baby No. 2  is about 10
days old now and I have only just finished this quilt.

Julie from Jaybird Quilts had this free tutorial
on her blog and I knew I had to make this.

I love the bright colours and thought it was perfect for a boys quilt.
I love the whales and owls they are soo cute!

Its a single size quilt but I'm sure little Brodee will grow into it.

A nice quick and easy quilt to make on a weekend.
I have machine quilted this with a Panto called Popcorn, great
for babies quilts.

Have a great day!

Funny Babies

Look what arrived in the mail today

Funny Babies- Pattern by Amy Bradley

As soon as I saw this pattern I knew I
had to make it.

I think I need to accept the fact that I am drawn to
applique quilts and to stop fighting it. More work
I know but the results are worth it.

I cant wait to get into making this quilt its just
the cutest thing.

Are there any applique addicts out there, like me??
What is your preferred method, hand applique, machine or
Raw Edge, I have just recently learnt Raw Edge, I find it quicker, so
that's my preference, whats yours??

Happy Quilting

Flowers - Colourful Fridays

Flowers is the theme this week for
Colourful Fridays hosted by Robyn from

We would love for you to join us, please feel free
to pop on over to Robyns Blog and join in the fun.

I didn't realise I had so many photos of flowers, I could still add more
but I won't (not sure how to make a collage in photoshop yet!!)

All these photos were taken in New Zealand and it just shows what
gorgeous flowers they have over there.

Have a Great day!
